Younis helps Pakistan draw the 1st test

WOW, I would have never expected Pakistan to draw the 1st test against South Africa but thanks to an unbeaten stand of 186 between Younis Khan and captain Misbah Pakistan were able to draw the match safely with 7 wickets in hand.

Younis Khan cracked an unbeaten 130 - his 17th Test hundred. Pakistan's top order resisted everything South Africa's bowlers could hurl at them and, befitting the occasion on the first day of Eid. Younis was assisted by Azhar Ali, who contributed a brave 63, and captain Misbah-ul-Haq who scored an unbeaten 76.

South Africa were left ruing three clear chances that went down as Younis was dropped by Mark Boucher on 16 and Jacques Kallis when he had reached 70, while Hashim Amla couldn't quite cling on to a tough chance off Misbah at short leg minutes before lunch.

Well played Pakistan and I hope they win the 2nd test match!
