Ricky Ponting is at the verge of retiring from international career and of course Australia is going to need a new captain. Now supposedly his successor is going to be Micheal Clarke and yes he has been the stand in captain a couple of times during Ponting's absence. However in all the matches that Clarke has captained in, Australia has lost most of them and that certainly raises the question is he suitable for the job. Clarke has some faults as well when it comes to having the right field setup etc etc.
Now what are other options, there is of course Micheal Hussey or even better in my opinion Cameron White who has made his mark at the international level and I believe he is also the captain of his domestic team Victoria and they've done pretty well in his captaincy. I even heard someone mentioning Callum Ferguson but he has been stroked by injuries and what not so he still has to make his mark.
Anyway what do you guys think? Lemme know in the comments!
