Pak's suspended trio lose contracts

Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has suspended the central contracts of Salman Butt, Mohammed Amir and Mohammed Asif. The trio was involved in a spot-fixing controversy during the 4th test match between Pakistan and England at Lords. The PCB terminated the contracts of these 3 players after their appeals were dismissed a few days ago in Qatar.

"We only give contracts to players who can play for Pakistan. Until their cases are decided ... they can't get any benefits from the board in terms of contracts," PCB legal advisor Taffazul Rizvi said.

This is really bad news for the 3 players, however I hope they win their case against the ICC tribunal, because they are the ones who will decide whether the players are guilty or not. Pakistan needs these players in their team.
